One app. Every tool.
Documents, PDFs, spreadsheets, slides, a database, a website builder, scanning and printing, in one workspace. It works offline, and your files stay on your device.
Namaste! I'm Ekam, guardian of Ashtadeep One.

The apps
Fourteen apps. One workspace.
Open a file and the right app opens it. Every app shares the same files, the same search and the same shortcuts.
- One FilesManage every file in the workspace: folders, uploads, trash and search.
- One PDFRead, annotate, sign, fill, organize and edit PDFs.
- One WriteA full word processor with DOCX in and out.
- One PadA fast, simple rich-text editor that starts instantly.
- One TextCode and plain-text editor with 80+ languages.
- One SheetSpreadsheets with formulas, charts and XLSX support.
- One SlidesPresentations with themes, presenter view and PPTX export.
- One DBA desktop-style relational database built on SQLite.
- One WebBuild a website or blog and export it as a static site.

Being built Six more apps are on the way:

- Highlight, underline, draw, add notes, shapes and stamps
- Fill in forms and sign with a drawn, typed or uploaded signature
- Reorder, rotate, split, merge and extract pages
- Turn pages into pictures, and pictures into a PDF

One Write
A full word processor that speaks DOCX.
- Styles, lists, tables, pictures, links and a table of contents
- Opens and saves DOCX, HTML, Markdown, TXT and RTF
- Letter, resume, report and memo templates
- Find and replace, spell check, focus mode and page setup

One Sheet
Formulas, charts and XLSX.
- 419 functions, with autocomplete in the formula bar
- Charts, sorting, filters, frozen panes and merged cells
- Several sheets per workbook, and room for a million rows
- Opens and saves XLSX, CSV and TSV

One Slides
Present from the same place you write.
- Ten themes, six layouts and per-slide backgrounds
- Transitions, speaker notes and a presenter view with a timer
- Text, shapes and pictures with guides that snap
- Exports PPTX, and each slide as a picture

Works together
One app hands off to the next.
No exporting and importing between programs. Each of these is tested from start to finish.
Write a letter in One Write, then print it from One Print.
Scan a page with One Scan, keep it in One Files, mark it up in One PDF.
Find a picture in One View, then edit it in One Paint.
Send a report from One DB or a deck from One Slides to one print center.
Private by design
Your files stay yours.
On your device
Files are kept in your browser's own storage on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Works offline
Once installed, every app opens and makes its documents with no connection.
No tracking
No analytics, no ads and no account. Nothing about you leaves the device.
Light by day. Dark by night.
It follows your device, or you choose. Every app is checked for readable contrast in both.

Bring your documents, workbooks and pictures as they are.

Your guardian
Meet Ekam.
एकम्: one.
Ekam guards Ashtadeep One, drawn in the style of the Indian comics many of us grew up reading.
His shield is made of pages, because your files are what he protects: they stay on your device.
Straight answers.
Can I use Ashtadeep One now?
Not yet. Ashtadeep One is in development and there is nothing to download. The first fourteen apps work and are tested; six more are being built.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-in and no account. Your files stay on your device.
What will it cost?
That is not decided. Nothing is for sale yet.
Which devices does it run on?
Ashtadeep One is an app you install from your browser. So far it is tested in Chromium-based browsers on a computer. Other browsers, phones and tablets will be named here once they are tested. Desktop and mobile apps are planned.
